Lee and Pup McCarty’s clay creations have a unique history, including a time when they created pottery in their Oxford garage and a neighbor, the famed author William Faulkner, allowed them to use a clay deposit on his property.
In a small gallery in Rolling Fork, the shelves and surfaces are crowded with metal figures of every shape and size. It’s all the work of Lee Washington’s Cotton Picker Art.
