Made in MS: Pirouline Cookies
Baked fresh every day in Madison, the world-famous Pirouline cookie is a Mississippi original.
The well-loved cookies are a hollow, rolled European-style wafer with a trademark chocolate swirl, and the company was founded by Peter and Mireille DeBeukelaer, who took Peter’s family recipe – which dates back to 1800s Belgium – and reinvented it for the American market.
Today, the company sells its original wafer, plus other flavors including hazelnut, dark chocolate and a rotation of limited seasonal flavors. Piroulines are wildly popular and were even featured as Starbucks’ 2018 Holiday Cookie Straws.

I’d love to win this basket so I can send it to my daughter who lives in Wyoming and dearly loves PIROULINE COOKIES. I regularly send Mississippi and Southern products to my daughter as an effort to make her homesick and to show her Wyoming friends how special Mississippi is!
