Staff Spotlight: Craig Hankins

Meet Craig Hankins, Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation Region 1 Regional Manager. For almost two years, Hankins has been serving Farm Bureau members in the northwest corner of Mississippi. As a regional manager, Hankins works as a liaison between the Farm Bureau headquarters and the counties in his region. Along with this, he works to promote and implement Farm Bureau programs in the counties. Hankins travels regularly in order to maintain contact with his region.

“I enjoy my ever-changing office view,” Hankins says. “No two days are the same.”

Being on the road so much has allowed him to learn far more than he would sitting at a desk.

“Getting out and seeing the diversity of my region has allowed me to learn so much about sectors of the agriculture industry that I had not been exposed to before,” Hankins says.

When he’s not at work, Craig Hankins spends his time pursuing his interest in horses and cooking.

“I really enjoy being around horses and the sport of team roping,” Hankins says.

On the weekends, he can be found adding twists to new recipes and attending local team-roping jackpots.
